Fulcrom will be hosting our first trading competition on Jun 1, 2023!

Not only is it a thrilling experience, but it’s also a chance to learn from other traders and improve your own strategies. We will be launching a leaderboard with the Trading Competition for you to check other traders’ performance and ranking.

The final top 20 traders on the leaderboard will be rewarding $FUL in a total of USD 10,000!

**How to participate in the competition?**

1. Connect your crypto wallet with [Fulcrom Finance](https://fulcrom.finance/)
2. **Fund your account**\
   There is no min/max limit on how much to trade during the trading competition, and there is no additional entry fee or changes for you to join the competition.
3. **Start trading**\
   Simply open position(s) of your desired pairs as usual, both market order or limit order will be counted into your **Trading Score**. Your trading score will be earned automatically, the more trading score you earned, the higher you rank on the leaderboard. \

4. **Check your performance**\
   You will see your rank on the top bar, or more intriguingly, go to the Leaderboard page to view top traders’ performances!

*\*Trading score will be updated every 60 seconds and Leaderboard ranking will be refreshed daily at 0:00 am UTC.*

### Trading Score Formula <a href="#id-4323" id="id-4323"></a>

Below is the Trading score formula we will use for the competition. Decide your best strategy to get the highest Trading score!

> ***Each trade PnL% =*****&#x20;PnL before fees / collateral of each trade**
>
> ***Trading Score =*****&#x20;Sum of \[each trade: (PnL %) \* sqrt(volume)]**

For example, you performed 3 trades:

Trade 1: PnL 10% , volume 50K\
Trade 2: PnL -2%, volume 10K\
Trade 3: PnL 7%, volume 12K

Your trading score would be:

10% \* sqrt(50K) — 2% \* sqrt(10K) + 7% \* sqrt(12k)

By using higher leverage on trades where you feel confident, you can increase your probability of winning the competition.

To ensure the fairness of the trading competition, there are few basic rules as below and Fulcrom reserve the right to make the final decision upon any dispute:

* Only trades made during the competition period will be counted towards the trading volume competition.
* The use of bots or any attempts at market manipulation are forbidden and may result in disqualification.
* The competition organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the competition rules.
* The competition organizer reserves the right to change the competition format, rules, or prizes at any time without prior notice.
* Participants are responsible for any tax liabilities arising from the prizes they receive.
